Home! When friends and good times are involved, Elounda Solfez Villas are the place to be. We had been preparing for quite some time, so that everything would be perfect when all of our friends would arrive. Cleaning, setting up flowers & trees, setting up the table, arranging for the wines (courtesy of Lazaridis winery), everything that a typic Greek family would do to please the company coming. The event took place right next to villa Do (photo), a beautiful, stone covered area, with olive & basil trees surrounding it and the bright stars of the Cretan sky as a roof top.
Tables were set as a Greek Pi (Π), so that nobody would be deprived of the magnificent view, of Mirabello Bay and the lit village of Elounda. Plus this way everybody would be able to face each other and actively engage in conversation.
Every element of nature showed us kindness that beautiful night...
